Celebration Cake & General Ordering Terms

At time of ordering a collection time & date must be given. 

All of our products may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts, sulphites and other allergens.

We do not cater for any allergies or intolerances unless specifically discussed before ordering.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information. MegsPegs will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of our products.

Customer must check products before leaving the premises & voice any discrepancies before leaving. 

Once the item has left the premises, you are responsible for ensuring that product gets to its destination safely & is stored correctly, to achieve best results for taste, quality & appearance.

Cakes are best eaten within 48hrs of collection.

If any issues are found upon slicing/eating any cake, the cake must be returned within 48 hours of collection for inspection. 

We reserve the right to use any image of a product made by us on our social media.

Bespoke Cakes: A non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the full cake cost is required to secure booking. If payment is not received within 48 hours of issued invoice, the booking will be deemed cancelled by the customer.

At time of booking you are responsible for providing the accurate collection date. This date cannot be changed. 

Cakes should be eaten within 48 hours of collection.

The balance is due 14 days before collection, an invoice will be issued approximately 21 days before collection to allow good time to pay. If the payment is not paid by the due date the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled by the customer. The initial deposit will not be refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that invoices are paid on time.

Any photographs/images provided at time of booking/during the booking/enquiry process are for inspiration only. We cannot guarantee a duplicate of any design. Final cake will not be exactly the same as any images provided.

If, for any reason the event is required to be postponed, please contact us immediately. The new date proposed will be subject to availability. If cancellation of the order is required & you have paid your full balance, the refund policy is as follows: If the cancellation is up to one (1) month in advance of your event date, you will receive a refund, less your initial booking fee.

If the cancellation is less than seven (7) days prior to your event, no refunds will be given.

Refunds will be paid within 30 days of cancellation. Any non-refunded balance may be credited toward future celebration cake bookings - within a 6 month period, subject to availability.

And photographs we have of the finished cake and cake making process may be shared on our social media pages at any time.
